I met Sandy during my first week of competition.
I was a Pharaoh in TSF and she was a Fairy.
She made the awful mistake of befriending me and offering her help
<grin> little did she know what she was getting into.
Yeap, I had read all the rules and instructions,
but still didn't have a grasp of this world of competition I had entered.
Sandy has remained a friend through all my changes and mood swings
and the lady has tolerance unlike any other.
She has remained by my side through the good and the bad.
Her shoulders are broad and always have space for a friend in need
(and boy, have I used it at times). We have many common things,
among them teenage daughters and grandchildren.
<smirk> There might be times where neither of us
is a good person to ask about kids,
we might inquire about the penalty for murder instead (just kidding, kind
of).
There have been mornings when Sandy and I
have sent one another SOS distressed communications.
For my part I can say I always felt better after.
I left for work with a complete new outlook on things.
Needless to say, we are also very proud grandmas ...
yeap... as young and wonderful as we are
(wait, the modesty mirror just shattered).
Sandy is a fantastic lady and I am proud to call her my friend.
